Tiel Plu: lists

Things I recently did in transit:
- observed a pair of whining "I miss first class" middle-aged pseudo-hipsters at the airport and silently JUDGED THEM SO HARD for their obvious problems that come from being?privileged?and then deciding, for whatever reason, to travel coach class.
- observed said pseudo-hipsters, who ended up assigned to the seats in front of me, play with media editing software on their macbook and then with dragon-slaying quest-RPG-type games on their ipad during most of the flight (this was actually really nice, as looking through the seats to the macbook screen provided a convenient clock for much of the flight), at which point I silently JUDGED THEM MORE (and proceeded to check the time every ten minutes until they switched from macbook to iPad).
- learned why?The Lucky One got such bad movie reviews: it's a terrible movie. I had trouble watching it. I had trouble paying attention and staying focused and even caring at all what its one-dimensional characters were doing. while watching it on a plane -- a place where generally i want nothing more than to be as distracted as possible from the fact that i am trapped for hours with nothing to do. i am hoping that my red-eye back to madison will feature the avengers, as promised by the airline magazine.
- drove a car to chauffer my brother around (who is actually learning to drive, but alas I am not yet 25 and so I must drive him around when our parents are busy elsewhere and there are errands to run)

Things I've been doing around town:
- been considered possibly old enough to be the mother of my little brother.. my little brother who is both taller than my and who has also already graduated from high school
- been considered possibly young enough to be a high school student out past curfew while hanging out earlier this evening with Ifong.
- eating food. so much food. there will have to be a separate post of nothing but food.
- catching up with family and friends. Saw Bree and Esh yesterday evening.
- running errands with my mother.
- teaching my family to play card games while letting the olympics run in the background.
- begun collecting a stash of proper Asian snack foods to take with me back to the Midwest.
-?marveled?at what sorts of goods are and aren't available in the stores here versus the stores in Madison, including stores with locations in both states, and also at how much more these things cost either here or there.

New haircut tomorrow and lunch with relatives I haven't seen since last December! Hooray!
